Sarah Leo is a Canadian politician. She served as the second President of Nunatsiavut. Nunatsiavut is a special self-governing region for the Inuit people in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. During her time as President, she worked with the Nunatsiavut government. She also shared concerns about the Lower Churchill Project.

Becoming President of Nunatsiavut
In 2012, Sarah Leo was elected as the President of Nunatsiavut. She took over from the previous President, Jim Lyall. As President, she was the main leader of the Nunatsiavut government. She served one term and did not run for re-election in 2016. Johannes Lampe became the next President after her.
Her Work Today
Currently, Sarah Leo is the chief operating officer for the Nunatsiavut Group of Companies. This group helps manage businesses and economic development for the Nunatsiavut region.
