Sarang Community Church of Southern California is a very large Korean-American church located in Anaheim, California. It is part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) group. The word "Sarang" (사랑) means "love" in Korean.

What is Sarang Community Church?
Sarang Community Church is one of the biggest churches for Korean-Americans. It is located in Anaheim, California, in Orange County. More than 10,000 people attend services there. Some estimates say it has about 11,000 members.
This church is the largest Korean church outside of Korea. It is also the biggest Asian church outside of Asia. Sarang is even the largest church within the entire Presbyterian Church in America group.
How Did Sarang Church Start?
Sarang Community Church was started in 1988. It was founded by a pastor named Rev. Jung-hyun Oh. He helped the church grow from the very beginning.
In 2003, Pastor Oh moved to Seoul, Korea. He went to lead a very large church there. This church in Korea had the same name, Sarang Community Church.
After Pastor Oh left, a new pastor was called. In 2004, Rev. SeungWook Kim became the new pastor. He came from another church called Korean United Church.
Later, in 2011, Pastor Kim also moved to Korea. He went to lead a church called Hallelujah Community Church. In 2012, Rev. ChangSoo Roh became the new senior pastor. He came from Korean Central Presbyterian Church.
