Sasha P (born Anthonia Yetunde Alabi on May 21, 1983) is a famous Nigerian rapper, musician, and businesswoman. She is also known as the "First Lady of Nigerian Hip Hop." Besides music, she is a lawyer and a motivational speaker.

Early Life and School
Sasha P was the youngest of eight children. Her mother, an educator, raised her after her father passed away. Sasha P lovingly called her mother "Sisi Fadekemi."
She started her music journey as a child in Ibadan, Nigeria. She went to the International School Ibadan and later studied Law at the University of Lagos.
Music Career Highlights
Sasha P became successful when there were not many women in Nigerian Hip Hop. Her achievements helped open doors for other female rappers and musicians in Nigeria.
She began working with other artists and signed with eLDee's Trybe records. Since 2001, Sasha P has been one of Nigeria's most well-known female artists. This was especially true after her first album, First Lady, was released by her record label, STORM.
Sasha P has received many awards in Nigeria and other countries. In 2009, she won "Best Female Artist" in the UK at the Women in Entertainment Awards for her song "Adara." Her second song, Only One, was nominated for two awards at the SoundCity Video Music Awards in 2009.
She was the first Nigerian female artist to perform at the 20th anniversary of the World Music Awards in October 2008. She also made history as the first Nigerian female artist to win the Best Female Award at the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).
After "Adara," she released "Gidi Babe" on her birthday in 2009. In 2012, she released another song called "Bad Girl P." By 2013, Sasha P decided to take a break from music to focus on her fashion business.

Sasha P was chosen as a brand ambassador for Etisalat, a telecommunications company. She also represents her home state, Ekiti, as a cultural ambassador.
Fashion Business
Sasha P started her fashion career as a custom designer in 2004. In December 2011, she created Nigerian high street fashion at L'Espace. She launched her own clothing brand, Eclectic by Sasha, in August 2012. She designs all the clothes herself.
Helping Others
Sasha P believes it's important to help her community. She said, "I believe as an individual, I have a social responsibility to make a difference any way I can." She has consistently worked to help others over the years.
She was part of the "Save a street child" campaign in Lagos in January 2009. In May 2009, she joined the "Maternal Mortality" project. This project helps educate young mothers and provides them with medical care. Sasha P is also a motivational speaker and has worked on campaigns to stop violence against women.
In 2012, Sasha P was honored to be an Olympic torch bearer for Nigeria.
