Satoshi Yokoyama (横山 聡, Yokoyama Satoshi, born February 14, 1980) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was responsible for scoring goals.

Satoshi Yokoyama's Football Journey
Satoshi Yokoyama was born in Hirao, Yamaguchi, Japan, on February 14, 1980. He loved football from a young age. After studying at Waseda University, he joined a professional football club.
Starting with Omiya Ardija
In 2001, Satoshi Yokoyama joined Omiya Ardija. This club was part of the J2 League, which is one of Japan's professional football leagues. He played his first game in May 2001. He quickly became an important player, often playing as a forward.
Even though he wasn't always a starting player, he played in many matches each season. In 2004, his team, Omiya Ardija, finished second in the J2 League. This was a big achievement! It meant the club was promoted to the J1 League for the first time ever. The J1 League is the top professional football league in Japan.
Moving to New Teams
After playing in the J1 League in 2005, Satoshi Yokoyama moved to another J2 League club. This was Shonan Bellmare, and he joined them in 2006. Here, he became a regular player, meaning he started most games. He scored 8 goals for Shonan Bellmare that season.
In 2007, he moved to Tochigi SC. This club was in the Japan Football League (JFL), which is another high-level league in Japan. He continued to play as a regular forward. His team, Tochigi SC, was also promoted to the J2 League at the end of the 2008 season.
Final Years in Football
Even though Tochigi SC was promoted, Satoshi Yokoyama left the club at the end of 2008. In 2009, he joined another JFL club, TDK. This club later changed its name to Blaublitz Akita. He played for this team for two seasons.
Satoshi Yokoyama decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2010 season. He had a great career, playing in many matches and scoring goals for different teams across Japan's football leagues.
