Scott is a small place in Bolivar County, Mississippi, United States. It's known as a census-designated place, which means it's an area identified by the government for counting people, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. It's also an unincorporated community, meaning it's not officially part of any city. You can find Scott along Mississippi Highway 1. It's about 5 miles (8 km) north of Lamont and 7 miles (11 km) south of Benoit.
In the past, Scott had three general stores where people could buy many different things. A post office opened here in 1907, helping people send and receive mail. In 1927, a big company called Delta & Pine Land Company set up its main office in Scott. The 2020 Census was the first time Scott was officially counted as a census-designated place, and it had a population of 90 people.
