Scott Christopher Grimes (born July 9, 1971) is an American actor and singer. He is famous for his roles in TV shows like ER (as Dr. Archie Morris) and Party of Five (as Will McCorkle). He also played Technical Sergeant Donald Malarkey in Band of Brothers.
Many kids know his voice as Steve Smith from the animated show American Dad!. He was also in the sci-fi comedy The Orville as Gordon Malloy. As a singer, Scott Grimes is known for his song "Sunset Blvd".

Early life and family
Scott Grimes was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. His parents are Pam and Rick Grimes. He lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, until he was 10 years old. Then, his family moved to Dracut, Massachusetts.
Scott's sister, Heather Grimes, is also an actress. He is the uncle of Camryn Grimes. Camryn is known for her roles on the TV show The Young and the Restless.
Acting career
Scott Grimes started acting when he was very young. In 1984, when he was 13, he starred with Mickey Rooney in a TV movie. It was a holiday film called It Came Upon the Midnight Clear. In 1985, he appeared in an episode of The Twilight Zone.
He also played Jack Randall on the CBS sitcom Together We Stand from 1986 to 1987. In 1987, Scott voiced Pinocchio in the animated movie Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night. He had a regular role in the TV series Party of Five from 1994 to 2000. He played Will McCorkle in 70 episodes.
In 2001, Grimes starred as Sergeant Donald Malarkey in the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers. From 2003 to 2009, he played Dr. Archie Morris on the NBC show ER. His character started as a funny sidekick. Over time, he became a very important part of the show.
Since 2005, Scott Grimes has been the voice of Steve Smith on the animated sitcom American Dad!. He also voices other characters on the show. In 2010, he voiced Kevin Swanson on Family Guy.
From 2017 to 2022, he played Gordon Malloy on the sci-fi show The Orville. Gordon is the best friend of Captain Ed Mercer.
Singing career
Scott Grimes also began singing when he was a child. In 1986, he sang "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on a Bob Hope TV special. This show was taped in Sweden. In 1987, he sang on an album by Richard Carpenter of The Carpenters.
Scott's first music album, Scott Grimes, came out in 1989. His second album, Livin' on the Run, was released in 2005. In 2010, he released his third album, Drive. His song "Sunset Blvd" was very popular. It reached number 18 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart in 2005. He is also one of the four singers in Russell Crowe's band, Indoor Garden Party.
Personal life
Scott Grimes has a son and a daughter. He was married to Dawn Bailey-Grimes from 1997 to 2007. He later married Megan Moore in 2011. They divorced in 2017. In 2019, he married his Orville co-star Adrianne Palicki. They separated in 2020.
