Walter Scott Williams, known professionally as Scotty ATL, is an American artist. He is a rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Scotty ATL is also an actor and an entrepreneur. He comes from Atlanta, Georgia.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Scotty ATL's parents helped him get interested in hip-hop music. His mother often played music by the artist 2Pac at home. As he grew older, Scotty became very serious about music. He had a friend named King J who was also a rapper.

Scotty created his own recording studio in his family's basement. There, he started to record music CDs. He would then sell these CDs at school.

After finishing high school at Redan High School in Atlanta, Scotty went to Savannah State University. He played basketball there. However, he soon decided to focus more on music again. In high school, he had formed a group called Monopoly Fleet. While in college, this group released an album called 2339 Underground Boyz.

Scotty and Monopoly Fleet even signed a record deal while he was still in college. They traveled between Atlanta and Savannah to record a new album. But the deal did not work out. After this, Scotty moved back to Atlanta. For a while, he focused less on music.

Music Career Highlights

Scotty ATL decided to create his own music label. He named it Cool Club. Through Cool Club, he released several music projects. Some of these include In the Meantime, The Jiffy Cornbread Experience, and SPAGHETTI Junction.

In 2014, Scotty ATL teamed up with the famous artist B.o.B. B.o.B. had his own label called No Genre. Scotty joined No Genre and went on a tour across the country. This tour was called the Cool Club Tour.

The next year, Scotty ATL was featured on a remix of a song called "Cloud IX" by Curren$y. After that, he released a project called The Cooligan. This project had 16 songs and featured other artists like Curren$y and B.o.B.

Scotty ATL also got to perform with B.o.B. at a big music event in 2015. He also performed on the "Next to Blow" stage at the same event. Later in 2015, he went on the No Genre Tour. He also opened for the artist Big K.R.I.T. on a tour that visited 29 cities. Scotty ATL even appeared on a TV show called 106 & Park, where he performed a freestyle rap.

Other Ventures

Scotty ATL created a tour called the No Handouts Tour. This tour featured both well-known and new rappers. They performed in many cities in the southeastern United States.

Besides music, Scotty ATL also owns a jewelry business. It is called Grillz by Scotty. This business is in Atlanta. It makes custom gold mouthpieces, also known as "grillz." Many other rappers have bought grillz from his business. Some of these artists include Trinidad James, Rich Homie Quan, and Killer Mike.
