Scruffy's Amazing Journey

Scruffy is a sweet puppy with bright eyes and a smart mind. She is born in an empty house with her mom, Duchess. One day, a big storm causes their home to burn down. Kind people rescue Scruffy and Duchess. They don't want to send them to an animal shelter.

A New Start and a Sad Goodbye

Soon, Duchess decides they must find her first owners. But then, something sad happens. Duchess gets lost, and Scruffy is left all alone in the countryside. She has to find her way to a city nearby.

Life in the Big City

In the big city, Scruffy is scared and cold. But then she meets Joe Tibbles, a kind street performer. He performs plays and acts on the street. Scruffy quickly becomes part of his act. She learns many tricks from him. They are very happy together.

However, their happiness doesn't last long. One day, Mr. Tibbles becomes very sick. He is taken to a hospital. Scruffy chases after the ambulance. She accidentally falls into a fast-moving river.

Finding a New Family

A strong dog named Butch saves Scruffy from the river. He takes her to meet his group of stray dogs. These dogs live together in an old station wagon. Their names are Randy, Collie, Sam, and Solo. They have not been treated well by humans.

The next day, Scruffy and Butch are tricked by a thief and his dog. Dog catchers find them and take them to the animal shelter. All the dogs bark loudly, hoping someone will notice them. Luckily, Scruffy and Butch are saved just in time! They find a new family who loves them. Scruffy grows up and has her own puppies with Butch.
