Sean Malto (born September 9, 1989) is a professional skateboarder from the United States. He is famous for his smooth style and amazing tricks. Sean has won many awards and competitions during his career. He is a well-known name in the world of skateboarding.

Sean Malto: Skateboarding Star
Early Days and Inspiration
Sean Malto grew up in Lansing, Kansas. His family background includes both European-American and Filipino heritage. Sean started skateboarding when he was 10 years old. His older brothers, Travis, Justin, and Chris, inspired him to pick up a board.
A local skate shop, Escapist Skate Shop in Kansas City, supported Sean from the very beginning. This shop has always been there for him.
Becoming a Professional Skateboarder
Sean Malto's first sponsor for his skateboard deck was Girl Skateboards. He is still sponsored by them today. In 2012, Sean was featured in the Girl/Chocolate video called Pretty Sweet. His part in the video was later remixed with music from Ed Banger Records. This remixed video was nearly ten minutes long.
During a competition in Kansas City in 2013, one of Sean's skateboard trucks broke. This happened while he was doing a trick. Because of this, he was not able to continue in the competition.
In November 2013, Sean had a serious ankle injury. This injury kept him from skateboarding professionally for almost three years. A detailed video about his recovery was shared online in 2016. Sean's first video part after his return was called 'Nike SB: Elite Squad'. It was released in 2017.

Sean Malto has received several important awards for his skateboarding skills.
- In 2009, he won "Rookie of the Year" from Transworld Skateboarding Magazine.
- In 2010, he was nominated for "Reader's Choice" by Transworld Skateboarding Magazine.

Sean Malto is also involved in business outside of skateboarding. He is one of the "Ambassadors" for a company called Saint Archer Brewing Co. This company was started by surfer Josh Kerr and skateboarders Mikey Taylor and Paul Rodriguez.
