The Second Deakin ministry was a group of leaders who helped run Australia. It was the 5th such group in Australia's history. This ministry was led by Alfred Deakin, who was Australia's second Prime Minister.

This group of leaders, mostly from the Protectionist Party, started their work on 5 July 1905. They took over from the previous group led by George Reid. The Protectionist Party got support from the Labour Party to form this new government.

The Second Deakin ministry lasted for over three years. It ended on 13 November 1908. This happened when the Labour Party decided to stop supporting them. The Labour Party then formed their own government.

One of the members of this ministry, Isaac Isaacs, lived a very long time. He was the last person from this group to pass away, in 1948.
