About Secret Valley Camp
Secret Valley is a special holiday camp for kids. It is a made-up place in Bildarra. This camp used to be an old, forgotten town. But it was changed into a fun resort for children.
Who Lives at Secret Valley?
The children who work and visit the camp have many adventures. They often have to deal with a group of tricky kids. This group is led by Spider McGlurk. His gang hangs out in a place called "Spider Cave."
Battles and Fun
The kids at Secret Valley often have playful battles. They use things like flour bombs and other food items. These fights usually end with everyone getting messy and having a good laugh.
Threats to the Camp
Spider McGlurk and his gang are not the only problem. Secret Valley also faces a bigger threat. The local council wants to close the camp down. A property developer named William Whopper wants to buy the land. He is also known as 'WW' and is played by Hugh Keays-Byrne.

The Secret Valley Theme Song
The theme song for the show is called "My Secret Valley." It uses the tune of a famous Australian song, "Waltzing Matilda." Bob Young composed the music. The lyrics were written by the show's producer, Roger Mirams. He was credited as David Phillips.
I had a dream I could ride across the mountaintops
Ride on the waves where the sea turns blue
Gum trees, some trees rise until they touch the sky
I know a place where it all comes true
Chorus:
I know a valley, I know a valley
My Secret Valley the world has to see
One place for children, welcome from around the world
Please come and share Secret Valley with me
Verse
Paris, London, Montreal and Amsterdam
So many friends that we want to know
From the hills of Spain to the city streets of Germany
I know a place where we all can go
Repeat chorus
