Sevara Nazarkhan is a talented singer, songwriter, and musician from Uzbekistan. Her full name in Uzbek is Sevara Nazarxon. She is known for mixing traditional Uzbek folk music with modern styles. Sevara has become famous around the world and has worked with many international artists. She was even given the special title of People's Artist of Uzbekistan, which is a big honor. First Album and Tours

In 2003, Sevara released her first album, Yoʻl boʻlsin. This album was released by a British music company called Real World Records. A French producer named Hector Zazou helped create the album. After the album came out, Sevara and her band traveled a lot. They performed concerts all over Europe and Asia. She also opened shows for the famous musician Peter Gabriel during his "Growing Up Tour" in 2004. That same year, she won the BBC Radio 3 World Music Award for "Best Asian Artist."

In 2009, Sevara released a popular song in Russian called "А Он Не Пришёл." This song became a big hit in many countries that were once part of the Soviet Union.

Traditional Uzbek Music

Sevara's album Tortadur was released in the United States in 2011. This album features traditional and classical Uzbek songs. Sevara wanted to keep the sound authentic. So, she invited experienced musicians who play traditional instruments to record the songs live. This means the music on the album was not changed much with computers.

In 2012, Sevara took part in the Russian version of the popular TV show "The Voice." This show helps new singers become famous.
