Shadybrook is a community located in Cherokee County, Texas, in the United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that the government counts for population surveys, even though it does not have its own city government. In 2010, about 1,967 people lived there.
Shadybrook is in the northwest part of Cherokee County. It is right next to Lake Palestine. The community gets its name from a special neighborhood with controlled access, called a gated community. This neighborhood is found on both sides of Farm to Market Road 346. Shadybrook is about 16 miles northwest of Jacksonville. It is also about 21 miles southwest of Tyler. The CDP includes the main Shadybrook neighborhood, plus other areas and homes nearby.
