Zilola Bahodirovna Musaeva (born on July 28, 1979) is better known by her stage name, Shahzoda. She is a famous singer and actress from Uzbekistan. Shahzoda is very popular in her home country and in nearby countries too.
In the early 2010s, Shahzoda also became well-known in Russia. She has sung songs in many languages. These include Uzbek, Russian, Persian, Kazakh, Tajik, and English.

About Shahzoda's Life
Zilola Musaeva was born in Fergana on July 28, 1979. She is married to Ravshanbek Yuldashev. They have two children together.
Shahzoda's Music Journey
Before starting her solo career, Shahzoda was part of a pop group called "Jonim." The group had two members. They became famous in 1998 with their song "Qarama koʻzlarimga" (which means "Don't Look at My Eyes"). The band broke up two years later. Both Shahzoda and the other member, Aziza, then started their own successful music careers.
Becoming a Solo Star
Shahzoda's first song as a solo artist was "Bor ekan." It quickly became a big hit in Uzbekistan. This song helped her become very famous in pop music. After "Bor ekan" was so successful, Shahzoda released her first album in 2002. It was also called Bor ekan. This album was one of the best-selling albums that year.
Her second album, Baxt boʻladi, came out in 2003. It was another big success for her. Shahzoda's third album, Keragimsan, was released in 2004. It sold over 25,000 copies in its first week! The first song from this album, "Keragimsan," was played on Vodiy Sadosi radio in May 2004. It became a huge hit in Uzbekistan.
Other songs from the album, like "Baxtliman," "Sevgi," and "Tamannozi," were also very popular on radio and TV. A song called "Qayt," which she sang with the famous Uzbek rapper Shohruh, was also a hit. Critics really liked it. The song "Hayot ayt" from the album was even used in the Uzbek movie Fotima va Zuhra. Shahzoda played the main character in that movie.
More Hit Albums
Shahzoda's fourth album, Baxtliman, was released in 2005. It sold more than 50,000 copies in its first week! The first song from this album, "Keragimsan," was played on radio stations and fans loved it. Songs like "Baxtliman," "Faqat sen," and "Layli va Majnun" also became very popular.
Shahzoda has also sung some songs in the Tajik language. These include "Manu tanho" and "Naghz mebinam." Tajik fans really enjoyed these songs. Her song "Birinchi sevgi" with another well-known rapper, Shahriyor, did very well on Uzbek TV music charts.
Reaching International Fans
Shahzoda has also become quite famous in Russia. Her songs "1000 i Odna Noch" (meaning "1000 and One Nights") and "Mezhdu Nebom I Zemley" (meaning "Between Heaven and Earth"), which she sang with DJ Smash, were very popular with Russian fans. The music video for "Mezhdu Nebom I Zemley" was shown on many Russian music TV channels, like RU-TV.
Her album Qora koʻzlaring was completely written and produced by a band called Benom (which means Nameless).
In December 2011, Shahzoda won an award. She was named "The Best Artist in Central Asia and Caucasus" at the Big Apple Music Awards in New York City.
In 2012, Shahzoda started releasing songs in English. Some of these songs were "Afghana," "All Alone" (with Akcent), and "Flying Tonight." "Flying Tonight" was produced by DJ Sean Bay. It was uploaded to YouTube on January 12, 2012.
Shahzoda was supposed to represent Uzbekistan at the Turkvision Song Contest 2013 with her song "Medlenno." This was announced on November 12, 2013. However, she was later replaced by Nilufar Usmonova, who sang the song "Unutgin."
Shahzoda's Acting Roles
Shahzoda has played the main characters in several Uzbek movies. The movie Fotima va Zuhra, where she played the lead role, did very well in theaters. Shahzoda received good reviews for her acting in it. She also played the main role in the 2007 Uzbek movie "Zumrad va Qimmat." Shahzoda herself sang the soundtrack song for this movie, called "Orzular." Shahzoda also acted in a popular Uzbek movie called O Maryam, Maryam.

Awards and Achievements
Shahzoda has won many awards for her music and acting. One of the most important is the "Nihol" award. This is an Uzbek award that celebrates the best professionals in music and film. She has also received many Tarona Records Awards. These include awards for Best Female Singer, Best Song, Best Lyrics, Best Video, Best Collaboration, and Best Design.
