Shalita Grant (born August 28, 1988) is an American actress. She is well-known for playing NCIS Special Agent Sonja Percy on the TV show NCIS: New Orleans. She has also appeared in other popular shows like Mercy Street, You, Santa Clarita Diet, and Search Party.

Early Life and Education

Shalita Grant was born in Petersburg, Virginia. She went to the Appomattox Regional Governor's School for the Arts and Technology for one year. Then, she moved to the Baltimore School for the Arts in Maryland. There, she won awards for her theater skills.

When she was 17, Shalita received a special scholarship. This allowed her to attend the famous Juilliard School. In 2010, she graduated from Juilliard with a degree in Drama.
