Shannon Falls Provincial Park is a beautiful park in British Columbia, Canada. It's a great place to visit! This park is about 58 kilometers (36 miles) from Vancouver. It is also just 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) south of Squamish. You can find it right along the famous Sea to Sky Highway.
The park covers a large area of 87 hectares (215 acres). Its main attraction is Shannon Falls. This amazing waterfall is the third highest in British Columbia. Water tumbles down from a height of 335 meters (1,099 feet)! The falls are named after William Shannon. He was the first person to settle here in 1889. He even made bricks in the area. The park also protects the land around the falls. This includes the north-east shore of the Howe Sound.

Nearby Parks and Attractions
Just north of Shannon Falls are two other parks. These are Murrin Provincial Park and Stawamus Chief Provincial Park. The Sea to Sky Gondola is also next to the park. This gondola takes people high up the mountain. Sadly, the gondola line was cut on purpose in 2019. It happened again in 2020 after repairs.
