Sharbat Ali Changezi, born on March 10, 1932, is a brave retired air officer from the Pakistan Air Force. He reached the high rank of a three-star air marshal. He was also a skilled fighter pilot.

Changezi led important air missions during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. In 1955, he showed his strong principles. He refused to meet the King of Afghanistan, Zahir Shah, during a visit to Pakistan. This was because of how the Hazara people were treated in Afghanistan.

Sharbat Ali Changezi is related to General Musa Khan. He is also married to Musa Khan's daughter.

Sharbat Ali Changezi's Air Force Career

Sharbat Ali Changezi joined the Pakistan Air Force in 1949. He served his country for many years, retiring in 1987. During his time, he became known for his courage and leadership.

Role in the 1965 War

During the 1965 war, Changezi was involved in exciting air battles. One famous event was a dogfight over Lahore district. In this fight, he and his fellow pilot successfully shot down enemy planes. This showed his skill as a fighter pilot.

In the 1971 war, Changezi continued to serve with bravery. He was the commanding officer of the No. 26 Squadron of the Pakistan Air Force. During this time, he flew F-86 Sabres, which were powerful fighter jets.
