About Sharon Tregenza
Sharon Tregenza has traveled a lot with her husband and two children. They lived for many years in places like Cyprus, Dubai, and Sharjah. While living abroad, she worked in a library and taught English to local girls.
Later, she returned to the United Kingdom to study at the University of Bristol. After moving to Pembrokeshire, she earned a special degree in creative writing. She also got another degree in writing for young people from Bath Spa University.
Sharon is part of several groups for authors. These include The Society of Authors and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Today, Sharon lives and writes in a converted chapel. It is in a village called Box, near the historic city of Bath.

Tarantula Tide was published on October 16, 2008. Sharon won the Kelpies Prize in 2008 for this book. She won the award at the Edinburgh Book Festival. The story is about young detectives in Shetland. It also won the Heart of Hawick Children's Book Award in 2010. Schoolchildren voted for this award.
The Shiver Stone
The Shiver Stone was published in 2014. It is an exciting thriller for middle-grade readers. The story takes place in a town on the coast of Pembrokeshire, South Wales. Xavier Bonet created the illustrations for the book. Zoe Draws Things designed the cover.
The Jewelled Jaguar
The Jewelled Jaguar was published on September 15, 2017. Like The Shiver Stone, it features illustrations by Xavier Bonet. The cover design was also done by Zoe Draws Things.
Stargazey Pie
