Early Life and Education

Shaunagh grew up in a town called Longford in Ireland. She went to an all-girls school there called Meán Scoil Mhuire. In 2018, she was asked to speak at her old school's graduation. She had made a short video about her work to show the students. However, the school decided not to show her video. Because of this, she decided not to give the speech.

After school, Shaunagh studied at University College Dublin. She graduated in 2006. Later, in 2008, she earned a special degree in journalism. She got this degree from Goldsmiths College in London.

Shaunagh Connaire started her career in a different field. She first worked as an accountant for a company called KPMG in Dublin.
