Shawme-Crowell State Forest is a cool natural area in Sandwich, a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. This special place is a Massachusetts state forest. It is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

The forest used to be much bigger. Some of its land became part of Camp Edwards. This camp is now part of Joint Base Cape Cod. The trees you will mostly see here are pitch pine and scrub oaks.
