Shawn Christopher Burr (born July 1, 1966 – died August 5, 2013) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played as a left winger. Shawn Burr played in the NHL for 16 seasons. His career lasted from 1985 to 2000.

Shawn Burr was chosen by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. He was the seventh player picked overall. This meant he was one of the top young players in the country.
