Shadrach Adeboye Folarin (born September 21, 1987), known as Shaydee, is a talented Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is also a great vocalist. In 2015, a music website called notJustOk named him one of the "15 Artists to Watch". Shaydee is famous for his popular song "Won Gbo Mi". This song features another well-known artist, Wizkid.

Early Life and Education
Shaydee was born in the old city of Kano, in Kano State, Nigeria. He is the second of four children in his family. When he was young, his family moved from Kano to Lagos.
He later attended Kogi State Polytechnic for his IJMB program. After finishing there, he went to the University of Ilorin. He studied Electrical Engineering at the university.
Shaydee's Music Career
After moving to Lagos, Shaydee started singing with a friend. This was when he was still in secondary school. In 2010, he signed a music deal with Cackland Records. He then released some songs like "Love Me Like U Used 2" and "Hands in the Air".
In April 2012, a famous musician named MI featured Shaydee. Shaydee sang on a song called "Pain" from MI's Illegal Music II mixtape.
Joining Empire Mates Entertainment
On June 11, 2012, Shaydee signed a big recording deal. He joined Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). This move really helped his music career grow. He helped write and sing on some songs for EME's album. This album was called Empire Mates State of Mind and came out in 2012.
Shaydee has worked with many other artists. These include Ice Prince, Seyi Shay, Skales, Cynthia Morgan, and Legendury Beatz.
Hit Song "Won Gbo Mi"
On November 16, 2013, Shaydee teamed up with Wizkid. They released a freestyle song called "Won Gbo Mi". Legendury Beatz produced this song. "Won Gbo Mi" quickly became very popular. It topped music charts in Nigeria. Fans and music critics loved it a lot.
The music video for "Won Gbo Mi" was filmed in Lagos. Jassy Generation directed the video. It was first shown on YouTube on June 11, 2014.
Endorsement Deals and New Music
On September 10, 2014, Shaydee signed an endorsement deal. He partnered with Metro Taxi, a taxi company in Nigeria.
On March 18, 2015, Shaydee released a new song called "High". This song was very successful. It earned him a nomination at The Headies in 2015. He was also nominated for "Best R&B Artist of the Year" at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. Shaydee was planning to release his first album, SOS, in 2016.
