Early Life and Design Start
Shaynna Blaze was born in Melbourne, Australia. She often says her parents, Basil and Annette, inspired her. Shaynna became interested in interior design when she was a teenager. After finishing high school, she earned a degree in design. She then started her career designing interiors for businesses.
After her first marriage ended, Shaynna found it challenging to run her business as a single mom. For about 10 years, she worked as a jazz singer in clubs. Her parents helped by babysitting her children. Shaynna returned to interior design after she remarried.

Shaynna's father, Basil, passed away in 1998. Her mother passed away in 2016. After her mother's passing, Shaynna was asked to design a special facility for older people, which she accepted.
Shaynna has two children from her first marriage: a son named Jess Kenneally and a daughter named Carly Anne Kenneally. She later separated from her second husband, Steve Vaughan, in 2018. They divorced in 2023.
Shaynna once dreamed of being an air hostess. However, she was too short at 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm) tall.
Her hobbies include yoga, meditation, sketching, painting, and reading. She also enjoys walking her pet border collie.
