Shenorock is a small community, also known as a hamlet, located in the town of Somers in Westchester County, New York, United States. It's a place where people live, and it's officially called a census-designated place (CDP) because the government counts its population separately. In 2010, about 1,898 people lived here. By 2020, the population grew slightly to 1,903 people.
This community gets its name from Shawanórõckquot, who was a leader of the Wiechquaeskeck people, a Native American tribe.
