Shields is a small town located in Dodge County, Wisconsin, in the United States. As of the year 2000, about 554 people lived there. A small community called Richwood is also found within the town of Shields.

History of Shields

The town of Shields got its name from a person named James Shields. He was a general who fought in the Mexican War. He also served as a United States senator. He represented three different states during his time: Illinois, Minnesota, and Missouri.
