The J1 League is Japan's top professional football league.
Loan Spell and Return to Ardija
In 2005, Shin didn't play as much. So, in 2006, he was loaned to Tokyo Verdy. This team had just moved down to the J2 League. Shin played many games for Tokyo Verdy over two seasons. He helped them return to the J1 League by the end of the 2007 season.
