Shiro Azumi (安積 四郎, Azumi Shiro) was a Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was one of the main attackers on the team. Shiro Azumi was also a member of the Japanese national team.
Playing for Clubs
After finishing high school, Shiro Azumi joined a football club called Osaka SC. This club was started by graduates from his own high school. Many famous players who also played for the Japan national team were part of Osaka SC during that time. Some of these players included Kiyoo Kanda, Fukusaburo Harada, and Usaburo Hidaka.
Playing for the National Team
In May 1923, Shiro Azumi was chosen to play for the Japanese national team. He was selected for a big event called the 1923 Far Eastern Championship Games. This competition took place in Osaka, Japan.
