Shooter facts for kids
A shooter is a fun type of video game where your main goal is to defeat enemies. You usually do this by shooting them, but sometimes you might use other ways to win! Be careful though, because the enemies will try to shoot back at you!
Early Shooter Games
Many of the very first computer games ever made were shooters. For example, the first video game created was a shooter called Computer Space. Also, one of the first games that lots of people played and loved was a shooter called Space Invaders. These games helped start the whole video game world!
Different Kinds of Shooters
There are many different kinds of shooter games today. A very popular type is called a first-person shooter. In these games, you see the world through the eyes of your character, just like you are really there!
In Japan, many people enjoy a special kind of shooter where enemies fire a huge number of bullets. These bullets often create beautiful, complex patterns on the screen. This type of game is known as a barrage shooter or curtain fire shooter. It's also called by its Japanese name, danmaku.
