Derrelle Owens (born June 9, 1981), known by his stage name Shorty Mack, is a talented producer, rapper, and actor. He became well-known in 1996 with his song "Hard To Tame Me." This song and his first album, also called Shorty Mac, were released by JVC/Vertex Music.
Shorty Mack has also worked with the artist Ray J on many songs. These include a special remix of "Formal Invite" and a version of "What I Need". Besides music, he acted as "Nyce" in the TV show Moesha. He also helped start a company called Knockout Entertainment.
