Shosh Riseman was born in Cyprus in 1948. Her parents were traveling at the time. She loved music and graduated from the Tel Aviv Academy of Music in 1970.
Her Education
Shosh continued her studies at Tel Aviv University in Israel. There, she learned about composing music and arranging it for orchestras. Her teachers included Noam Sheriff, Leon Shidlovsky, and Yosef Dorfman. She also studied in other countries. She learned at Guilford University in England with Hans Heimler. Later, she studied at Chicago University in the USA with Ralph Shapy. Shosh also explored electroacoustic music and voice at Tel Aviv University.
Her Career
Today, Shosh Riseman teaches theater arts at Tel Aviv University in Israel. She is well-known for creating music for plays.
Awards and Recognition
Shosh Riseman has received several awards for her musical talents:
