Shuree Danyell Lee Jennings was born on June 21, 1978. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio. To pursue her dreams and help others, she went to college at Nyack College in Nyack, New York. There, she studied music business. She also discovered her passion for helping young people. After college, she moved to Chicago, Illinois. She continued her work helping others at Willow Creek Church.

Shuree's Music Journey

Shuree started her music career in 2004. Her first album, Author of My Life, was released independently. Later, she signed with BEC Recordings, a record label. They released her first extended play (EP), Be the Change, on November 4, 2014.

The song "Be the Change" reached No. 45 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. Shuree was also featured on the Rapture Ruckus EP, Invader Volume 1. Her song "In This Together" reached No. 48 on the Christian Airplay chart. It also climbed to No. 11 on the Christian AC/CHR songs chart.

Shuree's Personal Life

Shuree is married to Paul Rivera. They got married on July 22, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio. Together, they have worked at The Compass Church in Naperville, Illinois. This town is just outside Chicago, where the couple lives.
