Early Life and Education

Silvana Arias was born in Lima, Peru. Her father was a theater actor, and her mother was a social worker. Silvana has two sisters. She can speak three languages fluently: English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

She went to Colegio San Antonio IHM in Callao. There, she studied business and fashion design. Silvana started acting to help pay for her college education.

Acting Career

Silvana Arias began her acting journey in 1999. She played Susana "Susanita" Peña in the Peruvian TV show María Emilia: Querida. In 2000, she also appeared in Pobre Diabla.

From 2001 to 2002, Silvana played Lucía Reyes in the TV show Soledad. After this, she moved with her family from Peru to Miami, Florida. She then joined the cast of Gata salvaje as Jimena Arismendi, a role she played from 2002 to 2003.

In 2003, Silvana played Constanza "Coni" Valdez in Amor Descarado. She also made a special guest appearance on the show Karen Sisco. A big step in her career came in 2004 when she joined the NBC soap opera Passions. She played Paloma Lopez-Fitzgerald until 2007. For this role, she was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award in 2005 as an Outstanding Female Newcomer.

After Passions, Silvana appeared in a short film called The Trip in 2007. In 2008, she was cast in a comedy TV pilot called Starting Under, but the show was not picked up.
