Sílvio José Canuto (born 17 January 1977), known as Silvinho, is a Brazilian football coach and former player. He played as an attacking midfielder. Today, he is the head coach for the Monte Azul team.
Silvinho was born in São Jerônimo da Serra, Brazil. He started his football journey in youth teams. Later, he played for many different clubs in Brazil and Japan.

Playing in Brazil
Silvinho began his career at Londrina. He then played for teams like XV de Piracicaba and Guarani.
In 2000, he joined Atlético Paranaense. He also played for Internacional and Vitória. Towards the end of his playing days, he returned to Londrina.
Playing in Japan
Silvinho also spent several years playing football in Japan. From 2002 to 2005, he played for Vegalta Sendai. After that, he joined Albirex Niigata from 2006 to 2007. In 2010, he played for Yokohama FC.

From 2018 to 2021, Silvinho coached the Under-17 team at Londrina. He also coached the Under-20 team at Maringá in 2022.

Silvinho has also coached senior teams. He was an interim coach for Londrina in 2019. He later became the main coach for Londrina in 2021. He also coached Verê in 2021.
From 2022 to 2023, he was an assistant coach for Maringá. Since 2024, he has been the head coach for Monte Azul.
