Simone Giannelli's Volleyball Journey

Simone Giannelli quickly became a rising star in volleyball. In the 2014-15 season, he played for Trentino Volley. He won the Finals MVP (Most Valuable Player) award in the Italian Volleyball League. His team beat Modena Volley to win the championship.

After this success, he joined the national team. He became a starting player, even though there were other strong players. These included Dragan Travica and Michele Baranowicz.

In his first year with the national team, Simone won two big medals. He earned a silver medal at the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup. He also got a bronze medal at the 2015 Men's European Volleyball Championship. At this European Championship, he was named the best setter.
