Simsboro is a small village located in western Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, in the United States. In 2020, about 803 people lived there. It is part of the larger Ruston area.
Simsboro has been home to important people who helped make laws. Two lawmakers from the 1900s, L.D. "Buddy" Napper and Ragan Madden, are buried in the Simsboro Cemetery. They both served in the Louisiana House of Representatives, which is where state laws are made. George M. Lomax, a lawmaker from the 1800s, also lived in Simsboro. He helped create the law that started Louisiana Tech University.
