Sir Henry Bellingham was a member of parliament (MP). An MP is a person chosen to represent an area in the government. He worked in the House of Commons. This is where laws were made. He represented the area of Westmorland. He was an MP from 1625 to 1626. He also served again in the Long Parliament from 1640 to 1645. His Family Life

Sir Henry Bellingham married Dorothy Boynton. She was the daughter of Sir Francis Boynton. They had seven children together. Three of their daughters lived to be adults. They also had a son named James. James inherited his father's baronet title. Sadly, James died only two weeks after his father.
