A Dishwasher Becomes CEO
A great story from Sirloin Stockade's history is about Tom Ford. He started working for the company on its very first day in 1966. His first job was a dishwasher! While going to college, he worked in different roles at the restaurant. In 1979, he bought his own Sirloin Stockade restaurant in the Austin, Texas, area. By 2008, Tom Ford had become the CEO of Stockade Companies! As of June 2016, he and Doug Frieling, who also owns a Sirloin Stockade restaurant, are the owners of Stockade Companies.
