Skagit Island Marine State Park is a cool place to visit in Skagit County, Washington. It's a public park that covers all of Skagit Island, which is about 25-acre (10 ha) big. You can find it about one mile (1.6 km) east of Hoypus Point. It's also about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Cornet Bay, which is part of Deception Pass State Park. The only way to get to Skagit Island is by boat! The island has lots of trees, open grassy areas, interesting rock formations, a nice beach, and a trail for walking.
