Southern Waterways

The water from the south side of the mountain flows into Jaquith Brook. From there, it goes into Nubanusit Brook. Next, it joins the Contoocook River. The Contoocook River then flows into the Merrimack River. Finally, the Merrimack River carries the water all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

Northern Waterways

Water from the north side of Skatutakee Mountain flows into Ferguson Brook. This brook also joins the Contoocook River. So, water from both sides of the mountain eventually meets up in the Contoocook River.
