Skippyjon Jones is a popular series of children's picture books created by Judith Byron Schachner. The very first book in the series came out in 2003. These books are well-known for how much kids enjoy them. They also use a fun, playful style of language that sounds like Spanish.
About Skippyjon Jones
The main character in the stories is a Siamese cat named Skippyjon Jones. He has some unique features, like really big ears and a large head, but a tiny tail. Because he looks different from his mother and sisters, he often imagines that he is actually a Chihuahua dog!
Skippyjon has a group of imaginary Chihuahua friends called Los Chimichangos. He lives at home with his mother, Junebug, and his three sisters, Jezebel, Jillyboo, and Jujube. The books follow Skippyjon Jones as he goes on many exciting and imaginative adventures.
