History of Snyder's-Lance
Snyder's-Lance grew by adding other snack companies to its family. In 2012, it bought a company called Snack Factory. The next year, in 2013, it also acquired Stateline Service Corp.
Growing with New Brands
A big step happened in 2016 when Snyder's-Lance bought Diamond Foods. This brought many popular snack brands under one roof. Some of these well-known brands include Kettle Brand chips and Pop-Secret popcorn.
Joining the Campbell's Family
In 2017, Snyder's-Lance announced it would join the Campbell Soup Company. This was a very large deal, valued at about $4.9 billion. The purchase was completed, making Snyder's-Lance a part of the bigger Campbell's family.
Office Changes
In 2023, Campbell Soup Company made some changes to its snack operations. The offices for Campbell Snacks in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Norwalk, Connecticut, were closed. All the work was moved to the main company headquarters in Camden, New Jersey.
