History of Solano Town Center
Early Years and New Owners
The mall first opened its doors in 1981. In 1998, a company called Westfield America, Inc. bought the shopping center. They changed its name to "Westfield Shoppingtown Solano." Later, in 2005, they dropped the "Shoppingtown" part from the name.
In 2012, The Westfield Group sold the mall to Starwood Capital Group. That same year, in November 2012, the mall got its current name: Solano Town Center.

- Sears: The Sears store at the mall closed in July 2018.
- Dave & Buster's: A new Dave & Buster's restaurant was planned to open in part of the old Sears space in early 2020. However, building was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
