About the Casana Plant
The casana plant is quite special. It grows a yellow fruit that you can eat. This fruit looks a bit like a smaller version of a tamarillo, which is another fruit from the same plant family.

The casana plant is a bit picky about where it lives. It doesn't like places that are too hot, too cold, or have too much direct sunlight. Instead, it prefers conditions found in cloud forests. These are cool, misty forests often high up in mountains. This preference makes it tricky to grow casana in many other places.
What's Special About Its Fruit?
