Soleminis, or Solèminis in the Sardinian language, is a small town in Italy. It's known as a comune (which means municipality or local government area) and is located on the beautiful island of Sardinia. Soleminis is part of the Province of South Sardinia, which is a region in Italy.
This charming town is found about 15 kilometers (that's about 9 miles) northeast of Cagliari, one of the biggest cities on Sardinia. In December 2004, about 1,698 people lived in Soleminis. The town covers an area of about 13 square kilometers (around 5 square miles).
Soleminis shares its borders with a few other nearby towns. These include Dolianova, Serdiana, Settimo San Pietro, and Sinnai.
