In 2014, Sonie Rajbhandari was chosen as Miss Pokhara. This win allowed her to represent her hometown, Pokhara, in the Miss Nepal 2014 competition. She finished as the second runner-up in this national pageant.
Representing Nepal

A New Title

Because of this, Sonie Rajbhandari became the new Miss Nepal Earth 2014. This change happened just two weeks before the next Miss Nepal competition in 2015.
