Making the Show: Season One Production
Filming for the first season started on September 15, 2008. It finished on March 23, 2009. The show was filmed at NBC Studios in Burbank, California.
The Fun Opening Sequence
The show's opening part, called the "opening sequence," is super fun! It starts with a phone ringing. Sonny picks it up and screams with excitement. She just got a call from Hollywood to be on So Random!. She quickly packs her suitcase.
Then, the background changes to an airplane flying to California. After that, you see Sonny in Los Angeles. The sequence also shows the other characters. Tawni quickly shines a star with her picture on it. Chad looks out the window of a fancy limousine. Grady and Nico are always messing around. And Zora is on top of a cool mechanical monster machine she controls!
The opening ends with the whole cast walking together. They stop and pose for the camera. Then, it switches to Sonny walking next to the show's title. She bumps it into place and says "Yow!" right as the music finishes. It's a bit like how the show That's So Raven ended its opening.
