Sota Nakazawa (中澤 聡太, Nakazawa Sōta, born 26 October 1982) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender. Nakazawa was known for his strong defense and leadership on the field.

Sota Nakazawa's Early Career
Sota Nakazawa was born in Mitaka, Japan, on October 26, 1982. After finishing high school, he started his professional football journey. In 2001, he joined the team Kashiwa Reysol. During his time there, he did not play in many matches.
In June 2006, Nakazawa moved to FC Tokyo. He played only a few games for this club. Later that same year, he made another move.
Playing for Gamba Osaka
In 2007, Sota Nakazawa joined Gamba Osaka. This was a big step in his career. From 2008, he became a regular player for the team. He was an important part of their defense.
