The South Branch of the Little Dead Diamond River is a small river in northern New Hampshire, United States. It is about 4.3-mile-long (6.9 km). This river flows into the Little Dead Diamond River. Both are part of the larger Androscoggin River system. This system helps drain water from parts of Maine and New Hampshire.

Where it Starts and Flows

The South Branch of the Little Dead Diamond River begins in a place called Dix's Grant. It starts on the eastern side of Crystal Mountain. Crystal Mountain is a long ridge, stretching about 7-mile-long (11 km).

From its start, the river flows towards the northeast. It passes through an area known as the Atkinson and Gilmanton Academy Grant. Finally, it joins the main Little Dead Diamond River. This meeting point is in the Dartmouth College Grant area.
