South Fork Estates is in the northern part of Jim Hogg County. You can find it at these coordinates: 27°16′2″N 98°43′30″W / 27.26722°N 98.72500°W.
Texas State Highway 16 runs along the east side of the community. This highway goes north about 3 miles (5 km) to Hebbronville. Hebbronville is the main town and county seat for Jim Hogg County. The highway also goes southwest about 19 miles (31 km) to Randado.
