Spinnerstown is a small community in Milford Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is called a census-designated place, which means it's a special area that the government counts for population. In 2010, about 1,826 people lived there. Spinnerstown is located just northwest of where I-476 meets Route 663.
History and Location
The Spinner family first settled in this area in 1753. That's how the community got its name! Spinnerstown has its own post office with a zip code of 18968. However, some nearby areas use the Quakertown zip code, which is 18951.
The village is located near the Molasses Creek. This creek flows into the Unami Creek, which then joins the Perkiomen Creek. The main government building for Milford Township is also close by, at 2100 Krammes Road.
Historic Spinner House
A very important building in the area is the Spinner House. This historic house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. This means it's recognized as a special place that is important to the history of the United States.
